Timber!!
With the wild weather battering the whole of Scotland, Rothiemurchus had its fair share of winds blowing a hooley throughout the estate! We were pleasantly surprised that there was no major damage to our path network. Both the rangers and the maintenance team have been out checking all areas of the estate to ensure it remains safe for all to enjoy.
One area that did cause a problem was along a public road where a tree was hanging precariously over the road! The pictures below tell you the story of how the tree was spotted, cut down, chopped up and finished off with a joke and a laugh from the Rothie team upon completion!
